As part of the WA Free RAT Program, every WA household is eligible for five free RATs. To register for your household’s free tests, please read through the information on this webpage.

If you live in the Perth metro area, your free RATs can be delivered to a residential address, or you can collect it from a drive through collection point.

Information if you are collecting your RATs

If you opt to collect your free RATs, you will be notified by email when your order is ready for pick up. You must collect your order by 14 March. Opening hours are from 7am to 6:45pm daily (including public holidays). 

The collection point will be specified in the order confirmation email. To collect your RATs:

• You will need your unique order number
• You may be required to provide ID that includes your proof of address
• You must remain in your vehicle at all times
• Walk-in collections are not permitted
• You must wear a mask (unless you have a medical exemption) when interacting with on-site staff
• Depending on demand throughout the day, please be aware that you may be waiting a considerable time to collect your free RATs, so prepare and plan ahead.

If you select the collection option after 13 March 2022, your free RATs will be delivered to your home address you have nominated.

Information if your free RATs are being delivered to you

You will receive a confirmation order email of your registration. Delivery of metropolitan location orders will start from 14 March.

After your order has been packed, email and/or SMS notifications will be sent so you can track the progress of your order.

If you are not home on the day of delivery, you will have the option to redirect your delivery to a local post office if you have provided your email address or mobile number. Please ensure you monitor your registered email or mobile number for delivery updates.

If your order is being delivered, you will not be able to collect it.

Regional areas 

If you live in a regional location, including the Peel region, your RATs will be delivered to a residential address.

Information about the delivery of your free RATs

You will receive a confirmation order email of your registration. Delivery of regional location orders will start from 28 February.

After your order has been packed, email and/or SMS notifications will be sent so you can track the progress of your order.

If you are not home on the day of delivery, you will have the option to redirect your delivery to a local post office if you have provided your email address or mobile number. Please ensure you monitor your registered email or mobile number for delivery updates.

Can’t apply online?  

If you are unable to apply for your household’s free RATs, contact 13 COVID (13 26843) who can help complete your online application for you and provide you with your unique order number to collect your RATs or to use to track your delivery.  

You will need an email address to receive your order confirmation with the unique order number if you are collecting your RATs or to receive notifications of its delivery status.
