Traffic stop north of Sioux Center leads to arrest -March 2 – Sioux County Sheriff – Sioux County Sheriff
On Wednesday, March 2, at 12:13 p.m., the Sioux County Sheriff’s Office arrested Johannah Byl, age 22, of Hawarden, IA.
The arrest stemmed from a traffic stop that occurred on Highway 75, two miles north of Sioux Center, IA.
Upon further investigation, the deputy determined that Byl’s drivers license was barred.
Byl was transported to the Sioux County Jail where she was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a barred drivers license, speeding, operating a motor vehicle with expired registration and failure to file SR-22 (a certification/proof of higher risk financial liability insurance).
