Transport dept informs on ‘booking for choice vehicle registration number’ – Morung Express
Kohima, January 19 (MExN): In the interest of public service, the Government of Nagaland has notified that the Motor Vehicles Department under Transport Department has introduced the system of ‘booking for choice vehicle registration number’ through payment of a booking fee of Rs 2000 valid for a period of six months at the Registering Offices across the state. “Such booked choice shall be extended for another period of 6 months only subject to payment of Rs 2000 for that period of extension,” the department notice issued through the DIPR informed. “No further extension whatsoever shall be made for the booked number after the expiry of the extended period,” it stated.
