Cadillac Summit Road vehicle registration begins – foxbangor.com

ACADIA NATIONAL PARK — Vehicle reservations will roll out for Cadillac Summit Road in Acadia National Park this Friday.
The National Park Service is requiring registration from May 25 through Oct. 22.
According to a news release, the reservations will be sold on a rolling basis and they’re available starting at 10 a.m. Friday.
The registration fee is $6 per vehicle and can be purchased at recreation.gov.
Visitors who enter the area on foot are not required to register.
Cadillac Summit Road offers a three-mile scenic drive to the highest peak in Acadia, but will not be served by the Island Explorer bus system.
The vehicle registration system was implemented in 2021.
According to the release, more than four million people visited Acadia National Park in 2021.
