■For all of us coming down with a case of cabin fever, the Webster Conservation Commission has planned a wetlands walk the first weekend in March. Everyone is invited. As more information becomes available, the dates, time, and location will be in the paper. It’s good to have an event to look forward to, especially in the winter.

■The Webster Police Department reminds everyone that you must stop for a school bus that is picking up or discharging children and have their flashing red lights on. If you are caught violating the law, you will be issued a summons. The fine for passing a school bus is $186 for the first offense.

■If you haven’t noticed, it is still winter outside, and since it is, don’t park in the street until April 1. A violation could cost you a $100 fine and your car might be towed.

■The next Webster Free Public Library Trustees Meeting will be on Feb. 23 at 4 p.m. Meetings are streamed and the public is also welcome to attend.

■With school vacation arriving in the next several weeks, remember that the library has museum passes. The pass for the Currier Museum in Manchester admits two adults and two children (ages 13 through 17) at half price admission. Children 12 years old and younger are free. The pass does not need to be returned to the library.

■The pass to the SEE Science Center in Manchester allows two people to visit. The pass is due back no later than the opening time of the library’s next open day.

■The Town Hall and the library will be closed on Feb. 21 in observance of President’s Day.
