Several sentences handed down | News, Sports, Jobs – timesobserver.com

The following sentences were handed down in county court last Friday.

¯ Caitlin M. Arnold, 29, Jamestown, NY, to 192 days to two years less one day incarceration, a $500 fine and $851.13 in costs and fees on a count of retail theft.

¯ Steven E. Bateman, 53, Warren, to 341 days to two years less one day incarceration, one year probation, $650 in fines and $780.25 in costs and fees on charges of terroristic threats, harassment and criminal mischief.

¯ Michael Battko, 37, Youngsville, to 103 days to two years less one day incarceration, $1,200 in fines and $3,442.48 in fines and fees on a count of fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer.

¯ Aaron J. Brew, 33, Warren, to one year probation, a $500 fine and $633.25 in costs and fees on a count of possession of a controlled substance.

¯ Eric S. Conant, 39, Titusville, to 15 to 45 months incarceration, a $1,000 fine and $1,152.25 in costs and fees on a count of conspiracy (possession with intent to deliver).

¯ David L. Harkins, Jr., 34, Youngsville, to two years probation, an $800 fine and $2,009.75 in costs and fees on charges of terroristic threats, harassment and criminal mischief.

¯ Amy N. Hornstrom, 38, Warren, to five years probation, $1,025 in fines and $1,885.25 in costs and fees on charges including a first offense DUI and careless driving.

¯ Katie E. Kramer, 38, Youngsville, to two years probation, a $500 fine and $2,565.25 in costs and fees on charges of retail theft and driving on a suspended license as well as $462.25 in costs and fees and a $150 fine on a count of retail theft at a second docket.

¯ Tracy M. Langworthy, 38, Warren, to five years probation, a $1,000 fine and costs and fees totaling $4,725.75 on a count of a second offense DUI.

¯ Joshua Leichtenberger, 38, Tiona, to seven days to one year incarceration, one year probation, $350 in fines and $1,041.75 in costs and fees on charges of fraud to counterfeit/forge/alter a title, registration or insurance, possession of a controlled substance and operating a vehicle without valid inspection. At a second docket, Leichtenberger was sentenced to one year probation, a $350 fine and $1,041.75 in fees on a count of receiving stolen property.

¯ Daniel L. Lester, 51, Pittsfield, 90 days to six months incarceration, $1,025 in fines, $1,523.25 in costs and fees as well as $18,900.48 in restitution on charges of DUI and careless driving.

¯ Rudolph N. Manelick, 43, Warren, to two years probation, $500 in fines and $2,320.25 in costs and fees on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

¯ Anthony T. Pollaro, 29, Tidioute to 11.5 months to 23 months incarceration, one year probation, a $1,000 fine and $1,149.25 in costs and fees on charges of terroristic threats, disorderly conduct and harassment.

¯ Syngyn L. Swartz, 23, Marienville, Pa., to one year probation, a $400 fine and $498.25 in costs and fees on a count of disorderly conduct. At a second docket, Swartz was sentenced to 20 days to one year incarceration, $725 in fines and $658.05 in costs and fees on charges of fleeing or attempting to elude police, driving an unregistered vehicle and driving while operating privileges were suspended or revoked.

¯ Daniel D. Vanguilder, 41, Youngsvile, to six months to two years less one day incarceration, one year probation, $500 in fines and $1,016.41 in costs and fees on charges of resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia.

¯ Jamie J. Watson, 46, Clarendon, to 11.5 months to 23 months incarceration, one year probation, a $500 fine and $780.25 in costs and fees on charges of simple assault and possession of drug paraphernalia.

¯ Earl H. Zeigler, 47, Warren, to two years and six months probation, $2,300 in fines and $3,355.25 in costs and fees on charges of fraud to counterfeit/forge/alter a title, registration or insurance, a first offense DUI and operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility.

A bench warrant was arrested for failure to appear against James L. Guin, Jr., 40, Pittsfield. Guin was to be sentenced on charges including possession of a controlled substance, DUI and driving while operating privilege suspended or revoked.
